Layered pillar candles

For this project you will need:
Double boiler
Thermometer
Scissors
Mould seal
mould
Cloth or sponge for support
Paraffin wax & additives for your formula
Primed wick
Different colour dyes

1. Wick up the mould and melt the wax according to the instructions in making a basic candle.
2. Lean the mould against a balled up piece of cloth or sponge to support it.

3. Pour in your first batch of wax and allow to cool.

4. Add the second different colour wax without disturbing the angle of the mould. Leave to cool.

5. For the last batch of wax you will need to tip the mould into the upright position before pouring.

6. Top up the wax, and remove from the mould when completely cool.
