Candle Makers - Review

Candle Makers Supplies is run by David Constable- a guiding light in the world of candles for nearly 40 years.

In the 1960s David re-launched the craft of candle making in Britain with his best-selling Candle Kit (still winning awards at the turn of the century). By the mid-70s David he was being described by craft magazines as the arch-expert of candle making, and he has since matured into an international doyen.

Blessed with boundless creativity, David is constantly experimenting with new designs, techniques, and materials. As a result, Candle Makers Supplies has become more than just a business - it is probably the world's best storehouse of candle-making and wax craft wisdom - David is consulted by other candle makers around the world on almost a daily basis.

In recent years David has been concentrating mainly on spreading the word - to a wide audience through his books and numerous appearances on radio and TV, and at a more personal level through classes and workshops. He is especially enthusiastic about training people to be teachers of candle making, and was involved in the setting up of Dimple Kapadia Candle Making Village outside Mumbai, India.
