Warning Labels for gel candles

Below is the wording that you can use on a gel candle warning label.

WARNING!
Keep away from children & pets!
CAUTIONS: Read Carefully!
Failure to follow instructions could result in fire, injury or smoke damage.
Keep wick central & trimmed to ¼" to prevent smoking and soot build up.
Burn only on a stable heat resistant surface for no more than 4 hours at a time.
If flame gets too large, or wick is taller than ¼ ", extinguish and trim.
Keep away from drafts and flammable objects.
Do not allow matches or wick trimmings to fall into melt pool.
Do not move while burning or gel is hot.
Never leave a burning candle unattended

Let your customers know that they can trim the gel wick after it has burned by turning the *cooled* candle upside down and trimming with a pair of baby scissors or toenail clippers. This will prevent wick debris from getting into the sticky warm gel.

I give a copy of these burning instructions as a leaflet to every customer. You can't be sure they will read the warning label, but you have a good chance of them at least glancing at the leaflet!!!
