Longwyck Candle Works - Review
Longwyck Candle Works is another of my favourite suppliers and if you come and check my scent shelves you will find an awful lot of their scents there! Jeff and Lisa Long and their assistant Missy go out of their way to supply companies large and small, and their policy is that customers will always be no1. In the time I've been stocking scent from this company I have never found one that I haven't been totally impressed with, and the first class customer service and helpful staff at Longwyck make ordering a pleasure.
Baby Powder - Like freshly bathed babies!! This scent is more of a "wet" than dry baby powder fragrance, and the throw fom the fragrance is phenomenal!
Banana Nut Bread - This is a very nice scent - more bananary than nutty!
Butter Cream - Did I just bake a cake? The smell of butter cream icing is superb!
Candy Cane - A very strong scent that is great at Christmas!!
Cantaloupe - The quintessential spring/summer scent! Cantaloupe is like biting into this fantastic fruit on a hot summer day. You can just picture it dripping down your chin. Powerful and simply outstanding. Very good throw.
Citronella - Bug off!!! Great for outdoors candles in the summer.
Cucumber - Very fresh "cucumber" fragrance
Dark Chocolate - This really is a rich dark chocolate scent that has a superb throw. I like to mix it with vanilla in layered candles.
Dream Catcher - This has to be the most beautiful fragrance in the whole world! Part of me didn't want to put it here in my review because it is *that* good I don't want to share it with anyone!!! It smells very much like the designer perfumes by Christian Dior and is a wonderful fragrance to burn.
English Ivy - This is a fresh and clean smelling scent that is also soap safe. It got added to my permanent scent list after testing a votive for half an hour. The throw is terrific.
Eucalyptyus - Talk about a sinus candle!!! The cold smell of a candle made with this scent is amazing, so just wait until you try it in a burning candle! It will knock your socks off!
Gardenia - A beautiful floral scent!
Grandma's Kitchen - This fragrance reminds me of every single baking scent I have ever smelled all combined in one delicious fragrance. It is sweet and spicy at the same time and has a kick butt scent throw!
Heavenly Peach - You only need to try this peach once to find out why they named it "Heavenly"!!! A great scent and a great throw.
Holly & Ivy I am having real trouble describing this scent. It is a green "plant" fragrance, but simply saying that doesn't do it justice! You need to at least try a sample of it so you can see for yourself! It smells like a Christmas Tree farm right after it has snowed!!
Hot Apple Pie - This is AWESOME!!! The delicious scent of apple pies baking in the oven is so strong and will fill your home in minutes!
Key Lime Pie - This scent has a terrific throw and is very citrusy but you can also smell that pie and ohhhh it is GOOD!!!
Luscious Vanilla - This is a very creamy vanilla scent with a terrific scent throw. There are so many different types of vanilla fragrance available for candles and this one is definitely worth testing!!
Macintosh Apple - Crisp, fresh and juicy. It smells more like apples than real apples!! Yes, it is THAT good!! You won't be disappointed with the scent throw either!
Patchouli - This is a good patchouli scent for anyone who doesn't like patchouli! It isn't as deep and heady as the true patchouli scent but still has an awesome scent throw.
Pearberry -A wonderful blend of these two popular fruit scents! This has a terrific throw and is great for fruit lovers.
Pear Mango - A delightful fruity combination of the luscious fragrances of pear and mango. A must have summer scent!
Plumeria - Longwyck's plumeria scent is one of the best out there. If you only want one floral scent, then let this be it! A light fragrance that fills the room with the fragrance of fresh plumeria blooms.
Pumpkin Pie - A great autumn fragrance full of the spicy fragrances that help to warm up those cool evenings. Hints of vanilla make this a creamy spicy delight.
Raspberry - OH this is GOOD! I don't know that I could say this is a "true" raspberry scent, but to me it smells like raspberry ice pops and brings back such happy nostalgic memories every time I sniff it! I ordered a big bottle of this after just sniffing the bottle, but when you actually get it into a candle -- ohhhh it blows your mind!! Fresh, fruity and sooooo divine!
Sea Breeze - A great fragrance for gel aquarium seascape candles. Fresh, modern and clean masculine tones. A great bathroom candle scent.
Sex on the Beach - I adore this scent!! Aside from it's naughty name, this fruity blend has a killer scent throw. It smells just like the cocktail it is named after.
Sweet Tarts - If you like really sweet fragrances then you MUST try Sweet Tarts!! It is very sweet and you can just smell those calories!!!
White Shoulders - A representation of a woman's perfume. It is soft and very feminine.
Other supplies I have used from Longwyck
Longwyck are also stocking a range of soap making supplies!! I recently purchased some of their oils for making cold processed soaps and the quality - as with their candle supplies is top notch!!!
