Rustic Escentuals / AromaHaven - Review

If you are a gel candlemaker, then this is pretty much your one stop gel accessories supply shop but it's not just for gel supplies!! Amy is absolutely wonderful to work with and if you are looking for wicks, twist ties, labels, pippettes or ANYTHING to do with gel apart from the wax itself, then this is where you want to look!!!

I ALWAYS spend waaaaaaay too much money on the beautiful things that Rustic Escentuals stock. I bought so many of the glass embeds because the quality and the detail in them is incredible!!!! I have tried far too many to list individually here, but suffice to say you won't go wrong with any of them!!!

Looking for glitter?? LOOK NO FURTHER!!!! Rustic Escentuals have the most amazing ... and I mean amazing selection of glitters that will cover you in any eventuality!! A little goes such a long way, so it really is worth trying all of them!!!

Here are my thoughts on some of their fragrance oils ........

AMAZON MIST - I really like this fragrance. It's very hard to describe though! It is a very tropical rain type scent ... flowers, grass and the smell of perfumed rain in the beautiful amazon jungles!!
APPLE COBBLER - Mmmmm apples and spices!!!!
BABY FRESH - This is a nice baby lotion scent. It's not baby powder - it's a "wetter" scent than baby powder. It smells just like the lotion I put on Megan and Nathan after a bath!
BLACK CHERRY This scent blew my head off straight out the bottle! Very strong!!
BLUEBERRY - Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!! Need I say anymore! I LOVE this blueberry!
CINNAMON - A gel safe cinnamon!!!! YEAH!!! The world waited forever for this!!
CUCUMBER-MELON - A lovely blend of these two popular fragrances.
ENCHANTED FOREST - Go stand amongst the trees and sniff!!!!!! This is a nice pine scent.
FIELD OF DREAMS - Another one I can't quite put my finger on! It's a powdery type floral without being flowery. Does that make sense! LOL
FRESH BREWED COFFEE - Smells like it is called! LOL Very coffee! Can someone say CAFFEINE!
FRUIT MEDLEY - This is just bursting with fruit scents!
FUZZY PEACH - This is a GREAT peach scent!!!!!!!
INCENSE - A strong Nag Champa incense!
INTERLUDE - I *really* like this, but I can't put my finger on it for the life of me!! It's not floral, not spice, not food, not fruit! LOL It's nice though!
LILAC - I'm not a floral expert, but this is a very nice soft lilac scent.
KEY LIME - Very strong, very tart - a great scent.
LONDON FOG - What I want to know is how can an American know what London fog smells like! Hahahaa This is a nice, bright floral scent.
MARIJUANA - Smells like a field of cannabis plants!!!
MAUI NIGHTS - Mango & coconut - WOW!
ORANGE SHERBERT DREAMSICKLE - Very sweet orange/vanilla mix.
PATCHOULI - This is a very musky woodsy patchouli ... a very true scent.
PLUMERIA - Very good plumeria scent!
ROOT BEER - Having never had a Root Beer I'm not qualified to say whether it smells like it or not! LOL
RUSTIC ROSE - Beautiful scent - a very soft rose, but don't be fooled! It may smell soft and delicate out of the bottle, but it throws very nicely!!
SEA SPRAY- This is a lovely blend for seascape gel candles. It is an ocean fragrance blended with florals. Definitely one to soak in the tub to!
SEVENTH HEAVEN - This is **very** nice. It's a very seductive scent - smells like a blend of patchouli, sandalwood and something else.
TAHITI DREAMS- This is an "ocean" type smelling fragrance, but it has fruity tones. A great bathroom candle scent and it's body safe too!
VANILLA CREME - A very creamy vanilla!! It is SO hard to find a good gel safe vanilla .... well, it was till I discovered this one!
VANILLA BEAN - Totally different to the vanilla creme above ... this is a slightly nuttier scent - very nice!
WILD BERRY FOREST - this is nice!! Berries and flowers all mixed in together!
WINTER WONDERLAND- This is pine and something else mixed in ... can't put my finger on it! LOL

Lavender Apples n Oak- Mmmm this is real woody - you can really smell the oak in here but it doesn't overpower the lavender - the apple is a very light touch. A lovely scent.
Fresh Sliced Cucumer- OMG this is incredible - no more needs to be said really! A fantastic cucumber scent - superb!
Celtic Moonspice- I can see why Morrigan got so excited over this one - it's a lovely creamy spicy blend of nutmeg, cinnamon and other spices - lovely warm scent and one of the first I made up into wax! This is one of the CherMark scents and unfortunately not gel safe, but definitely a winner for wax!
Avalanche- Another CherMark scent and not gel safe, but if you need a scent to blast your nose with mint and eucalyptus and get rid of the cobwebs then woah this is it! LOL
Forget me not- Ohh this is a really pretty scent!! Just like being a child again in fields of forget me nots. This is such a pretty feminine floral.
Fresh aire- I am having real trouble describing this one! Amy's site describes it as being good as an odour eliminator so we'll give that a go!
Wild Berry- Wow - a lovely mix of berries!
White Ginger & Amber- Now this I REALLY like! The ginger isn't overpowering and the blend with Amber makes it quite musky. I've poured this and am waiting (not so patiently!) to burn!
Pears & Pearls- I smell pears and vanilla but there's a little something else in here that adds a really intriguing note to the fragrance. This is one I'm gonna have to burn - OOB it smells really beautiful!
Green Tea & Cucumber- Mmmm now this we like! It's heavy on the green tea with a light touch of cucumber and is a very fresh clean smelling scent. I can picture this in bath & body products as well as candles.
Mandarin Twist - Ahhh now this one really surprised me! I was expecting something fresh and fruity but got something completely different (and better!) hence the twist in the name hub! It is feminine and perfumey but has touches of mandarin in there too. Very soft and girlie - we like!!!
Flannel Sheets- OMG! This is gorgeous! Methinks I will have to rethink my current laundry scent! LOL
Oakmoss Sage - Mmmmm this suits my musk loving nose!!! Very clean and fresh and woodsy smelling. I haven't poured it yet but would imagine it to be quite strong in wax - it certainly is in the bottle!
